Getting around
Travelling around Slovenia is wonderful, and whether you travel by train, bus or car, any journey you undertake will rarely be anything other than extremely scenic; moreover, the country's tiny scale means that you'll never have to travel long distances. On the whole, both trains and buses are clean, reliable and inexpensive; although trains are cheaper, buses do cover a far greater number of destinations. Driving brings the obvious advantages of allowing you to visit pretty much anywhere you please, and in your own good time.
