Slovenia Guide
Entry requirements
Citizens of the EU, Australia, Canada, New Zealand and the USA can enter Slovenia with just a passport and may stay in the country for up to ninety days, while citizens of some neighbouring countries, such as Italy and Austria, require only an identity card. All the latest information can be obtained from the Slovene Foreign Ministry website at
www.mzz.gov.si .
Assuming that you do require a visa, applications can be made to any Slovenian consulate abroad in person, or by post. Ninety-day stay tourist visas, with the option of single, double or multiple entry, currently cost £25/€35; transit visas, valid for five days, cost £10/€15.
