King's College Chapel, the first and finest of the King's College buildings, was completed in 1495, with a chunky Renaissance spire. The highlights of the interior, which, unusually, has no central aisle, are the ribbed arched wooden ceiling and the rare and lovely examples of medieval Scottish woodcarving in the screen and the stalls.
