Arrival

Aberdeen's Dyce airport, seven miles northwest of town, is served by flights from 37 UK and European destinations. The main trainstation is on Guild Street, in the centre of the city, with the bus terminal right beside. Aberdeen also has ferry links to Lerwick in Shetland and Kirkwall in Orkney, with regular crossings from Jamieson's Quay in the harbour.

From the train and bus station it's a five-minute uphill walk to Union Street, Aberdeen's main thoroughfare.
