By boat
Passengers arriving by boat from St Petersburg or Nizhniy Novgorod dock at one of Moscow's river terminals, far from the centre. The Northern River Terminal (Severniy rechnoy vokzal) is ten minutes' walk from Rechnoy Vokzal metro on the Zamoskvoretskaya line, while the Southern River Terminal (Yuzhniy rechnoy vokzal) lies a similar distance from Kolomenskaya metro, at the other end of the same line. In both cases, the route to the metro station is signposted at the terminal.
