Regional buses arrive at the Porta Napoli, and the train station. FSE and FS trains use the same station, 1km south of the centre at the end of Via Oronzo Quarta. Between mid-June and late September, Salento in Treno e Bus ( 0833.541.025, www.salentointrenoebus.it ) services depart from several places in town – including the City Terminal (near the Tiziano hotel), Viale dell'Universitá and the FS station – and head to Otranto, Santa Maria di Leuca (via Gallipoli) and the seaside resort of Porto Cesareo, among other destinations.
