Waterford's famed crystal seems to be on sale everywhere in the city, and the crystal factory runs a visitor centre providing guided tours of the production process. These cover the whole manufacturing shebang, from design to the intricate art of glassblowing, and display some glorious examples of the finished product – all, of course, aimed at tempting you to splash out on one of the finished works. From Monday to Saturday, city bus #3C from opposite the clock tower on the quays traces a circular route that includes the crystal factory.
