The Hauptbahnhof lies five minutes' walk west of the Holstentor. The bus station (ZOB) is just outside. Lübeck airport ( 0451/58 30 10, www.flughafen-luebeck.net ), 7km south of the centre, is served by international flights of budget airlines as well as domestic services to Frankfurt. A dedicated shuttle bus coordinates with international flights, otherwise bus #6 goes from the airport to the bus station (5am–11.50pm); expect to pay around €15 for a taxi. Taxi ranks are outside the Hauptbahnhof, or try Lübecker Funktaxen ( 0451/811 21) or Radi's Taxi ( 0451/442 44). Finnlines ( www.finnlines.de ) operates ferry services to Travemünde from several Finnish ports and to Lübeck from St Petersburg, while DFDS Tor Line ( www.dfdstorline.com ) sails to Lübeck from Riga, Latvia. The largest car parks in Lübeck are by the Musik- und Kongresshalle on Willy-Brandt-Allee.
