It has two bars and a lounge and often as not hip-hop thundering across its dance floor. Located 1km southwest of town along Halberstädter Strasse. Open Fri & Sat 11pm until late.
5 Strandbar Magdeburg Petriförder 1 0175/594 00 59 Get bright white sands between your toes while you lounge on a deckchair and sip a cocktail. This small, urban beach beside the Elbe has a number of food stalls, and various sociable and well-attended events – including films, DJs and beach-volleyball contests. Daily 11am–1am.
