The blackened Protestant Kreuzkirche dithers between late Baroque and early Neoclassicism, whil a postwar rebuild, depicted in photos at the rear, rethought the vaulted interior in rough concrete, an exercise in austerity that feels more cutting-edge gallery than church. It's especially dramatic during concerts of its acclaimed boys' choir, the Kreuzchoir; it gathers for vespers on Saturday at 6.30pm and Sunday service at 9am plus concerts advertised in the foyer.
