1 Affenclub Münzstr. 16 One-time gay and lesbian bar, that's long since become popular across the board, and always packed to the gunnels until the early hours – sometimes as late as 6am. And, as for the monkeys (Affen) – the theme is executed with the help of plenty of greenery and soft toys dangling all over the place.
2 Irish Pub Burgstr. 7 Convivial pub with regular live music on weekend nights; a favourite with local English-speakers.
3 Weindorf Julius-Wegeler-Str. 2 A small group of wine taverns around a mock village square off the Rheinpromenade: a touristy but fun place to sample local food and wine, with the reasonable quality mains ranging €6–17.
