Courtroom 600
Address: Bärenschanzstr. 72
The Nuremberg trials of Nazi leaders for the newly created crimes against peace, war crimes and crimes against humanity took place from November 20, 1945, to October 1, 1946, in the specially reconstructed Courtroom 600 (Schwurgerichtsaal 600) of Nuremberg's war-damaged Justizpalast, now the Landgericht Nürnberg-Fürth (U-Bahn Bärenschanze). Though it's still a working courthouse, it's usually possible to tour the courtroom at weekends, but check with the tourist office for details.
