Getting around

Bonn's Hauptbahnhof is on the south side of the Altstadt. If you're staying in Bonn, it's worth buying the Bonn Regio WelcomeCard (24hr €9, 48hr €14 or 72hr €19) – it gives free or reduced entry to museums and attractions in and around Bonn, reductions on selected Cologne attractions and unlimited use of the VRS Rhein-Sieg public transport system as far as Cologne. U-Bahn lines 16, 63 and 67 link the centre to the Museumsmeile and Bad Godesberg; if you're exploring the scenic Siebengebirge hills on the opposite bank of the Rhine, take line #66 towards Bad Honnef. Bicycles can be rented from Bonn's Radstation (Mon– Fri 6am–10.30pm, Sat 7am–10.30pm, Sun 8am–10.30pm; 0228/981 46 36), which is in Quantiusstrasse behind the Hauptbahnhof.
