Getting around

Public transport is provided by NVV ( www.nvv.de ); a Kurzstrecke ticket for up to four stops costs €1.60, single tickets €2.40, or a Tageskarte €5.70). There's a scattering of hotels close to Wilhelmshöhe, but wherever you stay in Kassel you're likely to be hopping on and off tramline #1, which runs along Wilhelmshöhe Allee and links the city centre with the west of the city.
