    East of the Altstadt on Amagasakiallee the Glaspalast, an imposing iron and glass former textile mill, houses the H2 Zentrum für Gegenwartkunst, Augsburg's municipal gallery of contemporary art, which exhibits temporary installations by artists. The same ticket admits you to the Staatsgalerie, a branch gallery of Munich's Pinakothek der Moderne, which concentrates on post-1945 representations of the human form. The Glaspalast also houses the Kunstmuseum Walter (Tues– Fri 10am–5pm, Sat & Sun 11am–6pm; €6), a private collection of classical modern and contemporary art, including 118 works in glass by Egidio Costantini.
