Getting around
The Altstadt is eminently walkable, but for attractions outside the centre you may need buses and trams (singles €2.15–2.70 depending on zone; Tageskarte day-card €5.70); the tourist board's ErlebnisCARD is better value. Travel information and tickets are available at an information booth at the bus station (Mon– Fri 7am–7pm, Sat 8am–6pm, Sun 9am–5pm). Being a university city, Bremen is also a cyclists' city – bike rental is from a cycle centre and workshop beside the Hauptbahnhof at Bahnhofsplatz 14 (Mon– Fri 10am–6pm, Sat 10am–2pm).
