2 Forum Bar 15 rue des Quatre-Chapeaux, 2e M° Cordeliers Opening time: Mon– Thurs 5pm–2am, Fri & Sat 5pm–3amConvivial men's bar with bearish decor and clientele, down an alley just north of the places des Jacobins and de la République.
3 Lax Bar 2 rue Coysevox, 1er M° Hôtel-de-Vill Opening time: Open 4pm–3amAs much a youth club as a bar, with internet access, pool table and giant video screen. Mixed, but it tends to be gayer later.
4 Oblik 26 rue Hippolyte-Flandrin, 1er M° Hôtel-de-Ville Opening time: Tues– Sat 5pm–1amRelaxed café/bar popular with gay men and lesbians.
5 La Ruche 22 rue Gentil Opening time: Mon– Sun 5pm–3amLyon's busiest and most famous gay bar, with a lively atmosphere, an international crowd and a heavy emphasis on drag.
