The Pyrenees

Arrival

From the airport at Rivesaltes, 6km north (no-frills flights from UK), there are up to six daily shuttle buses into town (€5), which call at the gare routière just off avenue Général-Leclerc, near the Pont Arago; a taxi will cost about three times as much. The gare SNCF is on avenue Général-de-Gaulle in the west of town.
