Getting around
Though most sites are accessible by public transport, buses and trains can be rather limiting, so it's a good idea to hire some means of transport, at least for occasional forays away from the crowds. Hiring a bike is perhaps the most enjoyable option of all: this is wonderful and easy cycling country, especially on the dedicated cycle routes that make up the new Loire à Vélo network.
