The Musée de la Résistance et de la Déportation de l'Isère is full of both high-tech audiovisual exhibits and simpler, more poignant types of wartime memorabilia. The subject is the brutal Nazi occupation of the Dauphiné and the bravery of the members of the Resistance who fought against the Germans and laid the seeds for France's eventual liberation.
