Arrival
Angoulême is easily accessible by train from Cognac, Limoges and Poitiers. From the gare SNCF, avenue Gambetta leads uphill to the town centre through place Pérot, a fifteen-minute walk. Buses leave from either the train station or place Bouillaud, at the top of the hill.
