Getting around

While walking is undoubtedly the best way to discover Paris, the city's integrated public transport system of bus, métro and RER trains – the RATP (Régie Autonome des Transports Parisiens; 08.92.68.77.14 6am–9pm premium rate, or 08.92.68.41.14 in English, premium rate, www.ratp.fr ) – is cheap, fast and meticulously signposted.
