Arrival

The Camargue airport, shared by Nîmes and Arles, lies 20km southeast of the city. A shuttle service links it to the town centre (2–4 daily, timed with flights; 04.66.29.27.29; "Gambetta" or "Imperator" stop; €5). By taxi, the trip will cost at least €30 (€35 at night). The gare SNCF is ten-minutes' walk southeast of the city centre at the end of avenue Feuchères, with the gare routière ( 04.66.29.52.00) just behind (access through the train station).
