South of the Corum, the city's most trumpeted museum, the Musée Fabre, has reopened after a major renovation. Its huge collection features seventeenth- to nineteenth-century European painting, including works by Delacroix, Zurabaran, Raphael, Jan van Steen and Veronese, as well as ceramics and contemporary art.
