Arrival

The gare SNCF ( 04.99.74.15.10) and gare routière ( 04.67.92.01.43) are next to each other at the opposite end of rue Maguelone from the central place de la Comédie. The airport, Montpellier-Méditerranée ( 04.67.20.85.00, www.montpellier.aeroport.fr ), is 8km to the southeast beside the Étang de Mauguio; from here a navette (timed for flights; 15min €4.90) runs to the stop on rue de Crète (by the Léon Blum tramstop); it will cost you €15–32 by taxi depending on the time of day and traffic conditions.
