All rooms are bright and modern with repro antique furniture, a/c and TVs; balconies cost extra.

Soundproofed rooms for up to four people, all with cable TVs and bathrooms. Internet facilities in lobby, and the staff speak English. The best choice in this category.

Slightly boxed in by tower blocks, but it's a secluded, quiet and pleasant small hotel (with only 16 rooms) away from the city bustle. Open mid-March to mid-Nov.

The pricier rooms, facing the pool and sun terrace, enjoy expansive views of the bay and have well shaded balconies.

It's 300m from the beach (up a narrow lane signposted right off the main road as you head out of town), but with great views of the gulf, a large pool and tennis court.
