Close to the gare SNCF is the Musée de l'Impression sur Étoffes, Mostly displayed in temporary exhibitions, the museum's vast collection of sumptuous fabrics includes the eighteenth-century Indian and Persian imports that revolutionized the European ready-to-wear market and made Mulhouse a prosperous manufacturing centre. It's worth trying to coincide with one of the daily demonstrations of fabric printing (consult the website).
