Some way to the west of the centre, in the direction of the A36 autoroute, is the revamped Cité du Train – Musée Français du Chemin de Fer,. Slick and interactive, the museum has impressive railway rolling stock on display, including Napoléon III's aide-de-camp's drawing room and a luxuriously appointed 1926 diner from the Golden Arrow.
