Theatre, cinema and concerts

1 The Crucible, The Lyceum and The Studio Tudor Square 0114/249 6000 www.sheffieldtheatres.co.uk These three Sheffield theatres occupy the same complex and between them put on a full programme of theatre, dance, comedy and concerts. The Crucible, of course, has hosted the World Snooker Championships for 30 years. It also presents the annual Music in the Round festival of chamber music (May), and the Sheffield Children's Festival (late June or July).
