Getting around

Birmingham has an excellent transport system, whose trains, metro and buses delve into almost every urban nook and cranny. Various companies provide these services, but they are co-ordinated by Centro, which operates a regional public transport information line ( 0121/200 2787, www.centro.org.uk ).
