2 Literary tours Blackwell's bookshop, Broad Street 01865/333 606 Specialist walking tours run from the bookshop. Their main offering is a Literary Tour of Oxford (2 weekly), but there are other, more infrequent offerings, like their Inklings Tour – Inklings being the group of writers, Tolkien and C.S. Lewis included, who met regularly in Oxford in the 1930s. In all cases, advance booking is recommended. Price: £6.50
