England Guide
Bristol, Bath and Somerset
Arrival
Bristol's Temple Meads train station is a twenty-minute walk east of the city centre, served by frequent buses #8, #8A and #9, which pass through the centre on their way to Clifton. Alternatively, from behind the train station you can make use of the cycle-way into town or the river ferry that leaves for the centre every forty minutes. The bus station is centrally located off Marlborough Street, though Megabus services from London stop opposite Colston Hall, off The Centre – the name given to the busy traffic intersection at the heart of the modern city, where most local buses stop.
