Getting around

The Czechs run a very reliable, inexpensive, integrated public transport system. The train system, bequeathed by the Habsburgs in 1918, is one of the densest in Europe, and has changed little since those days. Wonderfully scenic, it can be extremely slow, so if you're in a hurry, it might be worth considering taking the bus. Bus and train timetables can be found in in at jizdnirady.idnes.cz .
