You'll find an excellent assembly of Maya artefacts and carvings inside the small Museo El Príncipe Maya. The museum has some fine shell necklaces, polychrome bowls, jade earrings and a plethora of clay figurines, including warriors wearing animal masks. Don't miss the eccentric flints, early Classic urn or the main attraction – a stunning panel from a Cancuén altarpiece, embellished with 160 glyphs.
