The helpful owners can arrange trips (minimum six people) around the area, including visits to the fine white-sand beach of Playa Blanca (US$14), the Sapodilla Cayes off Belize for snorkelling (US$45, plus exit/entry taxes) and a jungle/culture trek that takes in a Garífuna village and the Siete Altars waterfalls (US$10). There's an excellent notice board here, too.
