1 Adidas Ave. 1ra esq. 60 The local branch of this world-famous sportswear specialist, which for many years has been the official supplier of kit to various national Cuban sports teams.
2 La Casa Ave. 1ra esq. 59 The selection of books downstairs is glossier than you'll find in most other places, though the subject matters are limited to revolutionary and political themes or Cuban architecture and gift books. Upstairs is a room full of CDs, in addition to the posters and pictures.
3 Coral Negro Calle 63 esq. Ave. 2da A well-stocked branch of the Cuban jewellery specialist whose products tend to be on the showy side. Watches and perfume are sold here, too.
4 Librería Hanoí Ave. 1ra e/ 43 y 44 Stocks a limited selection of mostly Cuban political literature and fiction that makes up the biggest section of the cramped premises.
5 Librería Varadero Ave. 1ra e/ 31 y 32 Varadero's best selection of English-language novels and other fiction, all second-hand, in this neat little shop which also stocks all sorts of Cuban journals and periodicals, most with an artistic, academic or political slant.
6 Peletería Verona Calle 63 e/ Ave. 1ra y Ave 2da. The widest selection of footwear in Varadero, much of it for women.
7 Puma Calle 63 e/ Ave. 1ra y Ave. 2da Sneakers, T-shirts, swimsuits, accessories and other bits and pieces from the local branch of this classic sports brand.
