1 Bar Daiquiri Lino Pérez no.313 e/ José Martí y Francisco Codania. With tables and chairs out on the street as well as inside, this café-bar is a sociable little spot and one of the few places catering exclusively to drinkers.
2 Bar Escalinata Well-situated halfway up the stairs to the lively Casa de la Música, there are plenty of chairs and tables and a band plays here most nights from 9pm. Serves rum, beer and an impressive range of Cuban cocktails,
3 Bar La Ruina Ruinas del Teatro Brunet, Maceo e/ Francisco Javier Zerquera y Simón Bolívar Before and after the live music performances staged here this place functions as a caféteria and bar.
4 La Bodeguita del Trinitario Colón no.91 e/ José Martí y Maceo A tiny but welcoming bar popular with both locals and visitors, located just around the corner from Parque Céspedes.
5 La Canchánchara Rubén Martínez Villena e/ Piro Guinart y Ciro Redondo A small bar, relaxed and sociable, gives onto a long thin shady courtyard, the covered half of which is lined with squat little benches. The house special is a cocktail of rum, honey, lemon, water and ice.
6 Mesón de Regidor Simón Bolívar no.424 e/ Muñoz y Rubén Martínez Villena A simple, straightforward daytime bar attached to the rustic restaurant right near the Plaza Mayor. A convenient place to cool off with a mojito.
7 Plaza Mayor Rubén Martínez Villena no.15 esq. Francisco Javier Zerquera The decent terrace bar tucked into a corner of the series of terraces that back onto the Plaza Mayor restaurant makes a very pleasant spot for a lazy outdoor drink during the day.
8 Trinidad Colonial In its own separate section and with one of the only authentic colonial-style bar counters in Trinidad, this is the best restaurant-bar in town for straight-up drinking. A spiral staircase leads up to a roof terrace, where there are great views.
