All rooms are large (some are huge) and well equipped, and a few have views of the bay. Its convenient location next to Club Cienfuegos means that nights here can be a bit noisy, however. The restaurant serves breakfast only. Price: $40-50CUC
3 La Unión Calle 31 esq. 54 43/55-1020 www.Cubanacan.cu Easily the most appealing and stylish accommodation in Cienfuegos, this charming and luxurious 1869 hotel has patios done in glorious Spanish tiles, a sauna, a gym, a hot tub, an art gallery and a small, sparkling swimming pool ($5CUC for non-guests). The 49 rooms are equipped with satellite TV and spotless bathrooms and there's a roof-terrace bar overlooking the bay. Price: $80-120CUC
