Arrival

SGA Airlines (www.sga.co.th) flies to Pai from Chiang Mai (30min; 1-3 daily), landing at the airstrip on the north side of town. Buses and faster, more comfortable, hourly air-con minibuses run to Pai from both Chiang Mai (4hr) and Mae Hong Son (4hr).
