The train station is on the west side of the centre at the end of Thanon Thamnoon Vithi; the bus terminal is far to the southeast of the centre on Thanon Kanchanawanit, while the air-con minibus terminal at Talat Kaset is about 5km west of town towards the airport, both leaving you with a pick-up ride to the centre.
The helpful Cathay Tour (074 235044, cathay_ontours@hotmail.com), a travel agency on the ground floor of the guest house at 93 Thanon Niphat Uthit 2, handles onward flight, bus, share taxi and air-con minibus bookings, both within Thailand and into Malaysia.
