The luxuriously long beach at HAT KHLONG KHONG is peppered with rocks and in most parts only really swimmable at high tide, though the snorkelling is good. Another big draw is the traveller-oriented bungalows, among them the most creatively designed places to stay on the island. There are several funky little beach-bars too, with the inevitable "special" mushroom omelettes on the menu.
