Outside Pyongyang
Most of the country is totally closed off to foreign visitors, but even the shortest itinerary is likely to contain at least one sight outside Pyongyang. The most common trip is to Panmujom in teh DMZ, via Kaeson, the closest cit to the border, but there are other popular excursions, includigng to Paekdusan, the mythical birthplace of the Korean nation.
