Lafcadio Hearn Memorial Museum
The Lafcadio Hearn Memorial Museum, or Koizumi Yakumo Kinenkan provides an excellent introduction to the life and works of the revered writer and is curated by Hearn's great-grandson, Bon Koizumi. There are lots of English captions and you can also see Hearn's favourite writing desk and chair, specially designed so that he could better use his one good eye.
