Karakoro Art Studio
Near the Kyobashi Bridge is the Karakoro Art Studio, housed in a stately former bank. The complex contains a small gallery exhibiting locally produced glass art, kimono and fabric and a number of craft shops selling jewellery, clothing and stained glass (note that some shops close at 5pm). There's also a classy restaurant with affordable lunchtime specials, a café serving up cappuccino and mouthwatering Italian ice cream that can be enjoyed in the breezy courtyard, and an Irish pub in the basement with Guinness on the menu (daily 5pm–9pm).
