Shukkei-en
A post-bomb reconstruction, Shukkei-en is a beautiful stroll-garden with a central pond and several teahouses. Built originally by Asano Nagaakira after he had been made daimyō of Hiroshima in 1619, the garden aims to present in miniature the Xihu lake from Hangzhou, China, and its name aptly means "shrunk scenery garden".
