What it lacks in atmosphere it makes up for in privacy. Guests can use the large public bath in the sister hotel New Grand Mimatsu (2-3 Hyakken-machi, 087/823-4111, Price: ¥7000-10000), around the corner, which also has good tatami rooms and a lively izakaya.
