Naha Municipal Arts and Crafts Museum
If you're interested in local crafts, drop by the Naha Municipal Arts and Crafts Museum on the second floor of the Tembusu building on Kokusai-dōri near Mitsukoshi. The entrance fee will get you into a small gallery with prime examples of fabrics, ceramics, glass and lacquerware, but more interestingly (and without paying the entrance fee) you can watch artisans fashion these objects in the adjoining workshops and studios. You can try your hand at weaving, bingata dyeing, glass-blowing, pottery and lacquerware for ¥1500–3000 depending on the craft, and there's also a well-stocked gift shop. Opening time: Daily 9am–6pmPrice: ¥300
