    The majority of visitors to Sendai arrive at the main JR station on the east side of town, near the local and long-distance bus terminals. The city also has an international airport, with flights from Seoul, Beijing, Guam and Taipei, as well as domestic services; limousine buses (40min; ¥910) and trains (40min; ¥630) on the new airport line run from the airport to Sendai Station. Ferries from Nagoya and Hokkaidō (Tomakomai) dock at Sendai Port, northwest of the city, which is served by local buses (40min; ¥490).
