Limousine buses run between the city's airport and Niigata Station (1–2 hourly; 30min; ¥370; platform 11), while ferries dock at one of three ferry terminals on the east bank of the Shinano-gawa. All three terminals are linked by local bus (15–30min; ¥200) to Niigata Station; alternatively, a taxi will cost around ¥1200. Most express buses use the Bandai City Bus Centre, about 500m northwest of Niigata Station, though some also stop outside the station.
