Kyū-Hosokawa Gyōbutei

Kyū-Hosokawa Gyōbutei is an immaculately restored and unusually large high-ranking samurai residence set in traditional gardens. It's one of the few buildings of its kind remaining in Japan. Opening time: Daily: April– Oct 8.30am–5.30pm; Nov– March 8.30am–4.30pmPrice: ¥300 or ¥640 including entry to the castle
